The beautiful village of Golspie, sits at the foot of 395m high Ben Bhraggie, boasting award winning beaches and lovely woodland walks. Just 10 miles north of Dornoch, this little seaside resort packs a punch with a colourful history and plenty of options for the thrill-seeker.
Amongst Golspie's many attractions are the beautiful sandy beach it looks over, St Andrew’s church at the centre of the village, and the many walks , whether going up Ben Braghie or the Big Burn walk which boasts a stunning display of Bluebells in late spring and spectacular waterfalls. For lovers of fairytale castles, Dunrobin is a must see. It is one of Britain’s oldest continually inhabited houses, dating back to the 1300s – and has a whopping 189 rooms! The castle is open for tours during the summer months.
