Returning Home

Over the centuries, many peoples have moved in to and out of the Highlands and Islands enriching the cultural heritage of the region and the vibrant diaspora of Scots around the world. However, the movement of people was not always voluntary and, in many ways, this movement continues to shape communities spread across the region today.
