Our Bridge

By Caroline Easton

My husband and I had a day trip to Inverness in 1983 and had a photo taken on Greig Bridge since then Inverness is our happy place and every year we visit we have a photo taken on the bridge and have done for 37 years now, even when it was closed we had a picture taken in front of a picture of the bridge to keep the tradition going.

Stories are at the heart of what we do as a project and we are always looking to learn more about what the Highlands and Islands means to people who live, work, and visit here.

The intangible connections between people and place are vital to wellbeing and the feeling of rootedness and underline many of our stories, including this one.
