In Kingussie, shinty is the beating heart of our community; but the shinty family extends so much further, with auld enemies battled on the pitch switching to supportive kinship off the field (well, mostly). My husband (Ewan), son (Rory) and I are proud to be part of the shinty family which exists because of the volunteers who run the Club - just like all shinty clubs - because the game is in their souls and they are giving back to the sport that gave them so much.

Stories are at the heart of what we do as a project and we are always looking to learn more about what the Highlands and Islands means to people who live, work, and visit here.
