Archivist's note: Danny Begg was a teacher and keen amateur radio operator who was a very active member of the Braintree and District Amateur Radio Society, even after his move back to Scotland. Begg's infinite passion and enthusiasm inspired many to get involved in ham radio, and his legacy as a warm friend to fellow enthusiasts lives on. He sadly passed away in May 2020 and is survived by his son and daughter.
