Arran Burn by Robert McLellan
By Sheila Gilmore
This is a beautiful piece of poetry, written for television (BBC), that follows the burn's journey down from its first little spring - through the old clachans, sites of Clearances, past farms and golf course, tourists and out to the sea.
It could be related to any burn on Arran!
