Beinn Stac
Spirit of the Highlands to me is .... whisky!
While the Earth spins on its axis, a human on its surface tries to keep pace. Walking along an uncompromising circular route around Beinn Stac, the person keeps himself, the mountain, and the Sun in alignment each step of the way. He stops to take a photograph of the scene every 70 yards at 4 minute intervals.
After 24 hours locked into this planetary rhythm, the exhausted mortal retires while the Earth continues its relentless journey through space and time. The 360 images taken along the circuit are sequenced to create a never seen- before moving landscape in form of an epic video loop. It is accompanied by a specially composed piece of music.
